Princess Bride Studio was founded by Kenneth Piehl as an answer to a need for better wedding photography choices in the Janesville area.
Before Princess Bride Studio, the wedding photography market in Southern Wisconsin/Northern Illinois was being served by a lot of independent photographers who often charged a lot while seeming to jump in and out of the market at will. Many of these were simply amateurs who had little or no formal training. Mr. Piehl had heard countless tales of woe from brides whose photographers backed out at the last minute, whose talents had been overrated, or who seemed more interested in photographing the wedding than actually delivering the photographs. There were also stories of outrageous fees being charged for what amounted to very ordinary work. Mr. Piehl decided to change all that.
There was clearly a need for a wedding studio that could provide consistent, quality wedding photography for brides and grooms at realistic prices. And so, Princess Bride Studio was born.
The cornerstone of Princess Bride Studio is a team of dedicated photographers who love photographing weddings. Each member of this group has been selected for photographic talent, and completes our extensive training program. This thorough program includes all aspects of wedding photography from camera operation to wedding etiquette. Only upon successful completion of training, are they certified as Princess Bride Studio Professional Wedding Photographers.
Other behind-the-scenes studio functions have been orchestrated as well, resulting in fast delivery and consistent quality of photographs and albums. And finally, Mr. Piehl decided that pricing should reflect the actual costs of doing business, not the ego of the photographer.
The result is a business filled with people who really enjoy preserving the memories of your once-in-a-lifetime event.
